We do not accept:

1. Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals)
2. Contaminated or non-metal waste
3. Items that are stolen or cannot be lawfully sold

We reserve the right to refuse any material at our discretion.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are based on current market rates and the type, quality, and weight of the material.

Quotes may change upon physical inspection or weighing.

Payment will be made on the spot or via bank transfer, based on prior agreement.

Valid ID may be required for some transactions (in compliance with New Zealand laws).

4. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

Pick-up times are arranged in advance and subject to availability.

We are not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, or access issues.

Customers must ensure that materials are ready for collection and easily accessible.

A cancellation fee may apply if pick-up is canceled without 24 hours’ notice.

5. Liability

Scrap Age is not liable for any damage to property during pick-up or drop-off unless caused by clear negligence.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all scrap provided is lawfully owned.

We are not responsible for injuries sustained by customers during self-drop-offs.
